It must be difficult to find new material and photographs for a book about John F. Kennedy, but I would have expected something more from LIFE. Yes, there are some photos from a private collection, but most of the material will be familiar to anyone who has read extensively about JFK. It would have been a great opportunity for some new perspectives and there must still be photos that have received little or no public showing. I just get the impression that not much imagination was put into this book. A real pity, as anyone old enough to have fond memories of LIFE magazine knows just what high standards that magazine was capable of.Product details

Rehash of previous Life Magazine publications.
Beautifully bound with great photos to boot.
