I love this series. The Mariposa Hotel is the latest in this series of Tangerine Street. The three stories in this book, are fun and sweet. As with all novella's I wish the stories were longer!! One of the interesting things about this book is how each story has characters who assume things about each other and the only thing to straighten it out is a face to face chat.The Mariposa is a hotel that sits on the beach which makes for some fun scenes. It also has a magic wishing well that grants wishes immediately.
In the first story Ghost of 913, one of the maids working at the Mariposa finds a room seeming to be occupied by a ghost. I like how the two characters start to interact with each other without having even met. I like how Mari is determined and has things she wants to do and is a strong girl who has seen some of life and has brought herself to a good place.
The second story Butterfly Kisses Ridley is a Plastic Surgeon who has a huge heart and works in Beverly Hills in order to do humanitarian aid in a 3rd world country. She meets someone who on the surface isn't who he really is. They work through some misconceptions and come to a friendly understanding. Again the young woman is a strong person who is happy with who she is.
The third story Dreams Come True deals with parental abuse and abandonment. Reagan is the events coordinator at the Mariposa and also a strong character. She meets a film producer who she assumes is a jerk but finds out how wrong she is. The story touches on parental abuse and neglect. But it is also sweet and fun.
It was a fun quick clean read!! Great job ladies I can't wait to read the next one.

All three stories were clean and excellent. It was fun to get different perspectives from different writers on the hotel staff member they were writing about.
So cute!! I loved these stories just as much as I’ve loved each book in the Tangerine Street Romance Book series!!
I really enjoyed this volume in the series a lot. All three stories were excellently developed and I loved the characters and situations. I really can't pick a favorite this time.
I also liked that the stories were about judging wrongly and sweetly it turned out instead.
Highly recommend.
This book is everything you want in a clean romance. Beautifully done. The Tangerine Street Romances are some of the best.
I really love this series and always look forward to the next book. Each book takes place at a different establishment on Tangerine Street. I totally want to visit this seaside town, it sounds like perfection. Each of these three stories was very unique, I liked that they all took place around the hotel and had that consistency throughout the whole book. There are some great romances and swoony moments, just an overall fun escape. Look forward to many more books in this series!
The Mariposa Hotel - Part One
"The Ghost"
I hesitated to read this part at first because of the title. I'm really not into paranormal stories. At. All. But, then I figured I'd better start at the beginning of the book because "part one"... What if I missed important details? I figured I could probably skip over the "spooky" parts... Turns out I had nothing to fear since the title is really tongue-in-cheek and there is no "ghost"; just a man of mystery who occupies the room. He must keep a secret identity due to his highly dangerous job and he must not be seen. Phew! I loved the storyline a maid studying to become a lawyer. So original!
After reading part one I'm thrilled that I did! It was excellent. I loved everything about it. Beautifully written. A hearty 5 stars!! (I won't give anything else away as it would take away from the story.) This is a squeaky clean romance, suitable for all ages. I will definitely be on the lookout for more books by the author!
Part 2- Butterfly Kisses
This story highlights a photographer (male) who steps in to help a friend by moonlighting as a concierge and meets a beautiful plastic surgeon with a heart for the underprivileged. In this story, prejudices and suppositions are the order of the day, it seems, along with a heavy dose of misunderstandings... And plenty of steamy kisses! Again, beautifully written, mature, engaging, fast-paced, excellent. Another winner and definitely worth a 5 star rating as well.
Part 3 - Dreams Come True
This part of the story highlights the hotel's event planner meeting a very successful, very famous, movie producer. A miscommunication leads her to believe that he's dating a much younger, beautiful woman. But all is not as it seems and the young lady is his niece. Will Raegan give Kevin a chance? Or will she keep giving him the brush-off? A gentle, sweet story. Nicely done.
